Our story
The Apostolic Faith Mission International — known as Gilgal — began at Akim Adwafo, Eastern Region, Ghana as a small gathering committed to prayer and holiness. Today it spans about 52 branches across four countries.
Under Apostle General Dr. Degraft Osei Kwame, the Gilgal Omuni prayer fellowship in Accra became a place of healing and intercession for thousands.

What we believe
01
Prayer is the heartbeat of Gilgal. We believe in the power of fervent, united prayer to move mountains and bring heaven to earth.
02
We pursue holiness and discipline in every area of life, reflecting the character of God in our homes, workplaces and community.
03
We believe Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Miraculous healing and deliverance are central to our ministry.
04
We are a family that cares. Through outreach, youth guidance and community development, we serve our neighbours with love.
“Then the people came up out of the Jordan on the tenth day of the first month, and camped at Gilgal.”
Joshua 4:19 (KJV)
Get involved
The heartbeat of the ministry. Our Accra-based prayer fellowship is known for powerful intercession, healing and ministry to the sick. All are welcome.
Wednesday, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Raising a generation that is on fire for God. Our youth ministry provides biblical grounding, mentorship and a community where young people thrive.
Empowering women to walk in purpose, holiness and God-given dignity. We gather for prayer, Bible study, fellowship and community service.
Building men of faith, integrity and leadership. The men's fellowship meets to study the Word, pray together and support one another.
A safe, joyful place for children to discover Jesus. Our trained teachers bring the Bible to life through worship, stories and creative activities.
Lifting our voices in praise and worship to the glory of God. Our choir and music team lead the congregation in authentic, Spirit-filled worship.
